If interested in fostering you can complete an application at the shelter and work with our staff to find possible matches for your family. Our goal when fostering is that the dog gets shared with friends, family and social media so the dog may be adopted before returning to the shelter.
Do not forget to bring your pets inside when it is too cold outside. IF IT IS TOO COLD FOR YOU, IT IS TOO COLD FOR THEM! The law says: During cold weather, a dog shelter must have a windbreak at its entrance and have bedding material that is sufficient to protect the animal from cold and promote the retention of body heat.

A "foster weekend" is picking up a dog from the shelter on Friday, taking them home to give them a new environment and lots of attention for the weekend. You can then bring them back on Monday.
